Ransdell Funeral Chapel is a member in good
standing of the National Funeral Director's Association and the Funeral
Director's Association of Kentucky, and is a Charter Member of the Forethought
Funeral Planning Network.
The entire staff at Ransdell Funeral Chapel is in full compliance with all
state and federal funeral service and insurance licensing requirements.
The Ransdell Family prides itself on being Mercer County's most experienced
and respected name in funeral service.
Ransdell Funeral Chapel is the only facility in the Mercer County area designed
specifically as a funeral home. We have one floor… ground-level accessibilty
with handicap entrances/exits. Aesthetic features include an original 1870's
horse-drawn hearse and a lighted water fountain, both located at the main
entrance. Additionally, we have a state-of-the-art sound system with video
output capabilities, including T.V. monitor viewing for overflow crowds.
