  SERVICES & PRODUCTS

Death can be an overwhelming experience. Our dedicated staff will assist you with the necessary arrangements involved in planning a funeral. Our experience and attention to detail will help you through this difficult time.
As we begin, it may be helpful to remember why funerals are important. Funerals:
  • Help us acknowledge that someone we love has died
  • Allow us to say goodbye
  • Provide a social support system for family members
  • Offer us the opportunity to commemorate our loved one in a meaningful way
  PERSONLIZATION

Over the years, many of the families we have served have told us they would like help personalizing their funerals. We can offer several ways to create a meaningful funeral - from ideas on personalizing the ceremony with special music or readings to enhancing the casket or urn you select with features that can reflect the unique qualities of your loved one. The following illustrates how we are able to tailor a funeral to the life of the individual.

The Outdoors

Horse Lover

Golfer

Gardener

Military

Everyone is unique. The more a service reflects the personality and life of the deceased, the more meaningful and beneficial it will be for all who attend. When planning a service, we urge families to think about what special interests, talents, or personal items best reflect the life being celebrated.

CASKETS

Caskets are available in a variety of materials, styles, colors and price ranges. The three materials primarily used in casket construction are steel, wood and semi-precious metals. Generally, the casket is selected on its aesthetic appeal as a symbol of respect.

OUTER CONTAINERS (VAULTS)

The two most common protective outer containers are the Metal Grave Vault and the Concrete Burial Vault. Both are designed, and warranted, to protect the casket from the weight of the earth and the water in the ground. Many cemeteries today require the use of some type of outer burial receptacle. However, less expensive grave liners will meet this purpose, though they are not warranted to protect against moisture.

URNS

There is no "standard" cremation arrangement. As families go through the arrangement process, we urge them to make service and memorialization choices that provide comfort and meaning that feel right for them. This includes the selection of a cremation container. Consideration should be given to the final venue of the "cremains." Some Urns are specifically designed for scattering, others are made for burial, and many are crafted to serve as keepsakes.

MONUMENTS

Monument Design & Sales is more than just a company selling grave markers. We are "memorialists" who pride ourselves on creating a meaningful tribute for the families we serve. Our objective is to provide the finest memorial at the best value.

The primary factors affecting the price of a monument are size and color. Variations of gray granite are the most readily available, thus the least expensive, while colors such as black and red are moderately higher in price.
