Charlotte Ann Young, 68, Salvisa, widow of J.C Young, died Thursday at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born December 30, 1946, in Cornishville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Gus and Mable Baker Huffman. She was a member of Cornishville Baptist Church, had been attending Salvisa United Methodist Church. Was a homemaker and farmer, who formerly worked at Gateway in the Deli. Charlotte is survived by: three daughters: Joetta Young of Danville, Jessica Young of Salvisa, Brittany (Chris) Denny of Lexington and one son: Ricky (Stacy) Young of Salvisa. One sister: Roxie Milburn of Springfield, KY. Grandchildren: Farren Young, Caleb Young, Kaylea Meredith, Kennedy Meredith, Samantha Young, Jessi Young, Micah Arnold and Malachi Arnold. Charlotte was preceded in death by her Grandson: Trent Young. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: . Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Johnny Hockersmith. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to Relay for life, Ephraim McDowell HR Team or The Mercer Co. Humane Society.
