Philip Lang Neat, 78, Lexington & Harrodsburg, husband of Patricia McBeath Neat, died Friday. Born October 11, 1936, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Charles and Emma Gladys Wilkerson Neat Vaughn.
Mr. Neat was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired District Manager of Frigidaire Company.
Other survivors include one daughter: Robin (Frankie) Reed of Danville, a son: Scott (Kathy) Neat of Washington DC; two sisters: Wanda Barker, and Nadine Norvell of Lexington, two step Sons: David (Teresa) McBeath of Georgetown, and Mike McBeath of Nicholasville, Grandchildren: Sarah & Phillip (Kayla) Reed, Darrin & Amanda Neat, Katie (Bryan) Hart, Alex McBeath, Ashley (Bryan) Wasson, Christian McBeath; Great Grandchildren: Haley & Samuel Hart; Special Family Member: Tricia McBeath and Caregiver: Alesia Durr. He is predeceased by his first wife; Faye Snow Neat and a sister, Charlotte Neat.
Memorial service 1 pm Tues. (4/21/15) with visitation after 11 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
