Viola Evelyn Rose, 97, Harrodsburg, widow of Earl Rose, died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born September 19, 1917, in Elkhart, IN, she was the daughter of the late Alford and Deliah Vandiver VanArsdall. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church and a retired employee of Cricketeer Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include one son: Willard Hamm, and one sister: Isavena Logue both of Harrodsburg, three grandchildren: Karen Hamm, Eric Rice, Cheryl Wolf, and a great grandchild: Noah Lee. She is predeceased by a daughter: Bernice Hendren, two grandchildren: Donna Singleton and Daryl Hamm, and two step sons: Robert and Marion Rose.
Graveside services 2:00 PM Tuesday (May 12,2015) Spring Hill Cemetery, with Phil Williams and Mago Harlau officiating.
