Ida M. Leonard, 98, widow of B. M. Leonard, died Thur., May 14, 2015.
Born Sept. 25, 1916, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Shelton and Eliza (Scott) Montgomery. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where she had sung with the Saints Alive Choir.
Survivors include: one son, Leon (Fran) Dale Leonard, Eminence, KY. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Marvin, and Scott Montgomery, and two sisters, Surene Divine and Elizabeth Boswell.
Funeral services 1 PM Saturday, May 16, 2015, Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Robert Defoor. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 5 - 8 PM Friday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers are Marty, Billy, Kenton, and Carroll Montgomery, James Neal, Brent Duell, and Monty Short. Honorary bearers are Charles Ballard, Richard Smith, Darlene Baxter, Bernie Hartung.
