Gladys Elliott Harlow, 83, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Joseph Harlow, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Saint Joseph Hospice Care Center, Lexington. Born June 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Gertrude Conn Royse. She was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church, Echo Homemakers, Gideons Aux., VFW Aux., and VA organizations. She was also the Director of Harrodsburg Health Care Sunday School classes. Other survivors: One daughter: Jo Nell (Carol) Harlow of London, England and one son: John J. (Rena') Harlow of Danville, KY. Two sisters: Betty Jo Pickett of Harrodsburg, KY and Judie Cooper of Greenburg, IN. Grandchildren: Joseph T Harlow, Evan R Harlow and a Great Grandchild: Lainey Harlow. Gladys was preceded in death by her Brothers: Gene and Pete Royse and sisters: Evelyn Reynolds and Frances McDowell. Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Joseph Harlow, Evan Harlow, David Royse, Mark Royse, Allen Pickett, & Brent Johnson. Honorary Bearers: Pam Brown, Linda Carr, Echo Homemakers Club and other Nieces and Nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Wayne Spivey and Bob Defoor. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to Harrodsburg Baptist Church Building Fund, Gideons International or Bluegrass Hospice.
