Jo Ann Burton, 78, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Carroll Owen Burton, died Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Danville Ctr. For Health, Danville. Born June 28, 1936, in Kenton County, she was the daughter of the late Owen Nelson and Anna Belle Royalty Sanders.
Other survivors include: one son, Richard Carroll (B.J.) Burton of Harrodsburg; four sisters, Peggy Burns, Frances Sanders, and Donna Lou Sanders all of Harrodsburg, Rebecca Gooch of Richmond, KY; two brothers, R. C. Sanders of FL, and Kenneth Sanders of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Jeremy Carroll (Jennifer) Burton, Kimberly (Jordan) Goodpaster, and Bryana Paige Carkin; one great grandchild, Cohen Prather Burton. Jo Ann is predeceased by two sons, Steven Douglas and Michael Edward Burton, two sisters, Wanda Woolcott and Debbie Sadler, and a brother, Harold Wayne Sanders.
Celebration of life service 1 pm Wednesday, July 1st., with visitation after 12 noon at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Honorary bearers are: Sean, Jon, Joey, Jeff and Janet Sanders, Brian Burns, Jason and Steven Sadler, and Carroll Drury.
Memorials are suggested to the Bohon Church of Christ.
