Charles Elliott Vanderpool, 68, Harrodsburg, died Monday, July 13, 2015. Born April 10, 1947, in Buena Vista, KY, he was the son of the late Bruce Joseph and Rosie Ann Goodlett Vanderpool.
He was a dock owner/operator on Herrington Lake for a number of years and also served in the US Marine Corps.
Charles is survived by: one daughter: Kimberly V. Roberson of TN. One brother: Leslie L. Vanderpool of Bryantsville, KY and long time companion, Pearl M. Sexton of Harrodsburg. Grandchild: Tori McKinley Roberson. Charles was preceded in death by his Sister, Jo Ann Vanderpool, Brother, Robert Bruce "Buster" Vanderpool and brother, William Russell "Toby" Vanderpool.
There will be a private memorial service held at later date.
The family request memorial donations be sent to Heritage Hospice.
