Jean Barnett, age 86, of Harrodsburg, widow of Jerry Barnett, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at home in Harrodsburg. Barbara was born October 19, 1937 in Marietta, OH, to the late late Darrell and Mildred (Davis) Conner. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had provided private in-home care. Jean was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed time with her neighbors at Harrodsburg Place. She is survived by: four sons, Daniel (Vicki) Anderson of Marietta, OH, Doug (Kim) Anderson of Salvisa, KY, Darrell (Melinda) Anderson of Beverly, OH, Jon (Sondra) Anderson of Lowell, OH; four grandchildren locally, Ashley (Bryan) Wethington, Jeremy (Brandy) Vanwinkle, Jerrod (Baylea) Anderson, and Tyler (Mattison) Barnett; several grandchildren out of state, and several great grandchildren; a special four-legged friend, Bear. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Edward Conner, a sister, Eileen Harris, a grandchild, Justin Vanwinkle, and a step son, Chad Barnett. The funeral will be held 6:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Stephen Brogli officiating. Burial will be later in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 26 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422.
